Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake without Kade the end of June, he was working out of town. I was really nervous to go without him but Ash came and was an amazing help and we had so much fun. We stopped to grab shakes with Maggie and her kids, it was so fun. Then we headed on over to the lake...oops I missed the turn and went to Dingle yeah it was pretty epic haha. We got there and Mia and Ashley were so excited to get in the water it was like watching two little kids. We missed Kade but had a great weekend.
 Cute Baby Porter!
I love this pic of Ash jumping.
 My two excited girls haha.
These two woke up at 6:30 ready to go to the lake so instead they colored for a while.
My Brooks man was so excited to play in the sand.
I finally let the kids go on the boat for the first time. Yeah I am a little crazy.
Brooks was out, snuggling with Grandma.
Tube ride with Aunt Maggie :)
My beautiful sister in law Kacey and me :)
 Ash wake boarding!
I never get in the water or do anything fun but I really wanted to ride with my Mia girl and it was a blast.
We made Jazz waffles one morning.

T-Ball

Mia wanted to play t-ball this summer. She has spent some time watching baseball with my dad and was interested in playing so we signed her up. She had a great time she really enjoyed it and was hitting with the coach pitching near the end. We also attended the player appearance where they had Bees players showing the kids how to hit, throw, and catch. It was pretty awesome and we all had a great time going.
 My little buddy.
He was crying under there because he wanted to play in the dirt.
I am not sure why her smile looks why she is in pain but I love the team one :)

T Swift

Back on December 13 I bought tickets to Miss Taylor Swift as a surprise for my little Taylor fan (and for her other fan in the house that would be me). I have been super excited about taking her. Concerts are a big deal for her daddy and I. We love going and knew it would be a big deal for her as well. The night before we told her we were going to go shopping. We went to Cal Ranch and told her we were going to buy a cowgirl outfit, she didn't question just went with it. Yeah for having a 4 year old, much easier to surprise :) The only tricky part was talking her into buying pants, if you know Mia you know she only like to wear "princess" clothes which in her head is a dress or skirt. Thank goodness for Jasmine and her ability to wear pants so we could get Miss Mia in some. The next day we got all ready for the concert and told her we were going on a date with just her and us. She was really excited. Then we let her pick dinner she chose Friday's. We went and had a yummy dinner then drove down to the ESA. We got out of the car and started walking and I thought she would say something about the Taylor trucks but she didn't. When we got to the corner Kade decided to tell her where we were going here . We had a great time at the concert and Kade and I both cried watching her, it was amazing to see how excited she got at each song. Taylor did an amazing job and sang for a solid 2 hours which I thought was great because most of the time its an hour and a half or so. I can't wait to see another one of her shows.
I love the pics of her playing the guitar and singing she did that the whole time. She also got an awesome
t-shirt and had to put it on right away. I love having a little girl to do fun stuff with and my awesome husband who will do anything to make our kids happy. I am one lucky girl!

Parade

My mom is the assistant manager at Wing Nutz in South Jordan. For their country fest celebration they have a parade as part of it so they had the kids and grand kids sit in the back of the truck and throw out candy. They had a fun time and every one was in Utes stuff. Thanks mom for the fun day!
Yes I have the cutest little boy in the entire world !
 Mia throwing the candy!
 My boys.
I love these kids :)

Big Kid Beds

My babies are growing up. We switched them both to new beds. We were given this awesome Car bed which is perfect for my cars loving little man. Then we had a twin bed that we pulled in for Mia. We went to the store and let them pick out their own sheets. Really surprising what they picked out haha not...Brooks chose Lightning McQueen! Mia chose Brave. They are loving their beds. However most nights I find them in each other's bed. I love that they are choosing to spend time together even if its sleeping :)

Lasts

May was a lot of lasts. Mia's dance studio that she has been going to for two years decided to close its doors. We were really sad we loved the studio and Mia had a wonderful teacher. Miss Emily the last two years. She is missing her already.

The last day of preschool was fun for her they had a party. I cried, yep I am that mom :) Mia will be going back there next year for her second year of preschool. We are excited we loved the school and Mia did so well there.
Her friend Kenzie was sad when Mia was leaving so she jumped in and gave her a hug.
