Mia's Birthday

Mia you are two years old. It was been an awesome two years and we look forward to more with you :) For your birthday we had strawberry waffles since strawberries are your favorite and you love waffles. Then you took a nap with daddy on the couch since he had been out of town for work all week he really missed you. We went to the aquarium, one of your favorite places of all, then we opened presents and had cupcakes. The next day we took you to the zoo, just the four of us went. We had a great time and you loved all the dinosaurs, just like your mama. We loved the zoo and Brooks slept through the whole thing, he is the best baby. We hope you had a fun weekend and we love you so much. We also played in your princess castle tent that your best friend Abby gave you. Thanks to everyone that came to see her and play. We have the best friends and family. Thanks again.

The Kids

Whenever we get ready for church on Sunday we always ask Mia if she would like to go to nursery and play with the kids. She always gets excited and says yes. She loves nursery and her leaders. Her leaders last name is the Kidman's. So now when we say kids, she thinks we are referring to the leaders. I am so glad she loves them and going to church.

Today was her 2 year check up and while we were waiting for the doctor she was singing and dancing around like she does and then she came and sat next to me. She put her hands on my face and started singing, she was singing so soft and I couldn't quite make out what it was. Then she just kept singing and I realized it was I am a child of God. I was so proud of her and tears came to my eyes. I am so grateful for her teachers and all that they are teaching in nursery. We love you so much Miss Mia.

Happy Birthday Mia 2!

My beautiful princess was born 2 years ago today. I can't believe how fast it has gone. This has been the best two years of my life, she is amazing and so much fun. I am so lucky to have gotten such a good kid. I am so proud of all she does, counts to 20, says all her ABC's, recognizes a lot of letters and numbers, sings, dances, and loves unconditionally. We love you so much Miss Mia. Thanks for all you have brought to our lives.

My Second Mother's Day

My second Mother's Day was fantastic. Having both of my kids with me all day was wonderful. Kade made an amazing breakfast for me, my mom, and Kristen. We loved it, he is an amazing cook. Then I got Life as we know it from the kids and my sprinklers fixed from Kade. That night we went to Kade's parents for dinner.

I am so blessed to have these two amazing people in my life. When Mia runs up to me and says I love you sooooo much, it makes everything worth it. Brooks' little smiles and snuggles make it worth it. I thank the Lord everyday for blessing me with these little angels, I can't imagine my life with out them. I would like to thank my mom for teaching me to love unconditionally. She has taught me that you can get through anything in life with love. Thanks to both of our mom's for all they have done for us.

Just Like Heaven

Mia thinks its funny to sit in Brooks' car seat.

I always expect the worst with change because that way I won't be disappointed, this is from times of getting disappointed and thinking things were better than they were. Ever since I got pregnant I have had some people in my life be negative about how kids take up your whole life and how you can never do anything you want. Well when I had Mia I didn't feel like that at all, in fact she added so much to my life that I couldn't imagine a day with out my little princess. I was still able to "do" what I wanted to that it made life that much better. Then I got pregnant with Brooks and some people's reactions were oh they are too close, you are going to miss out on things with Mia, bla bla people were very negative something I was not expecting at all. Well its almost been three weeks with both my children and I can't imagine a day without either of them. They add so much to my life and make me happier than I ever thought possible. I know some moments are hard and I know leaving these little angels when I go back to work will be the hardest but the good so much out weighs the bad that if I could imagine how heaven would be it would be just like this but with Kade home with us all the time. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family. I love you Kade, Mia, and Brooks.

At Brooks two week check up he weighed 8 lbs 7 oz, 39% for weight, and was 20 1/2 inches 50% for height. He is doing great and still sleeping like a champ.

Me, Mia, and Brooks making funny faces.

I asked Mia to smile and she did :)

Brooks chillin with my dad.
