Rio

I was at Cafe Rio the other day, yes I go at least once a week and yes I save all my calories for the day just to eat a pork salad because I can't live without it. As we were walking out I saw this sign and thought wow I would actually do that because I am in love with their pork salads :) It's the little things right??

My twins

When I had Brooks I never imagined he and Mia would look so much alike and wow do they. Their personalities are totally opposite but their looks are so similar. Kade and I were taking a nap the other day and they woke up and we weren't quite ready to be awake so they are actually sitting on us while we still dozed off and they watched the Lion King and when I woke up I saw this and thought we are so lucky. I can't believe how much I love being a parent its the best thing that has ever happened to me. Thanks cute kids for all that you have done for us.
This was after breakfast with the Seiler family at Black Bear Diner, we had a great time and Mia loved the bears.

Creamy's

This is my favorite part of summer, creamy's! Every Monday we have fhe and then we go outside and have creamy's as our treat and play in the back yard and then take a bath. It is so fun and I love hanging out with these cute kids, I am one lucky momma!

Late Night

A couple of weeks ago Mia had a late night with Paisley. Paisley's parents and us wanted to watch the Olympics late so we had dinner, hung out and then put the kids to bed. Brooks was out at 8pm he was a tired man, then Mia and Paisley had a "sleep over" until midnight in Paisley's bed and they had a blast reading stories with Weston and being silly. We are so lucky to have such great friends. Thanks Weston and Christa!

Wow

I got on facebook the other day and saw this lovely picture posted. One of my friends had posted it and I thought it was so funny. I would just like to point out a few things. First of all I wish I knew what happened to those shoes because I love them, secondly that is our friend Ashley Hillary who has always been so nice to me and Kade, and thirdly what is Kade wearing?? I mean I look like a big nerd here too especially with that lovely anklet (however you spell that) and hunched over, its a magical picture. Enjoy!

Kade's Soccer Team

My husband loves me more than anyone I believe. When I met him he had never really watched sports minus BYU football which I don't count :) So dating me was a whole lot of sports. I love to watch sports, play sports, and talk about sports. I couldn't believe that this was ingrained in him like it had been me my whole life. So he was a good sport and watched the games I wanted even though the Jazz frustrate the hell out of him he still watches them with me. Well I also still played soccer when I met him and he would come and watch all of our games and be our "cheerleader" he is amazingly supportive. I have been playing off and on ever since. He played once when he was 8 and that was it, a few years ago I got him to play corporate games soccer through our work and he played again this year. He decided after that that he wanted to play on a men's team so we found one through our friend Justin and he started playing. This is at his first game. I was so proud of him. He has come to love soccer and watches it all the time and is now playing. I am so proud of him and so grateful that he would learn something new for me just because I love it, it doesn't get much better than that! Thanks for being so amazing Kade, I don't know what I would do without you :)
The kids playing during the game, they were laughing their heads off here.

Ethan is 1!

My beautiful nephew Ethan turned 1 on 7-11-12. He is such a wonderful addition to our family and I am so lucky to be his aunt. He gives me the best kisses. He is a smart, fun, happy little boy. We had a great time at his party. Love you E!

One Year

What a difference a year can make. I just wanted to share this picture because I was shocked by it when I came across it this morning. My friends Ashley's one year anniversary is Sunday and the picture on the right was taken at her wedding. It is the only almost full body shot that I have seen of myself because I usually crop them or delete them all together so I am so glad that she had one. We were looking at her pictures and we saw this one and I was shocked when I saw it. I have been working hard this year but I didn't realize what a difference it has made and it felt good to see how far I have come since I have so far to go. Just over a year ago I started working out again but I didn't change the way I was eating until the end of January this year. I don't know exactly how much I have lost since this picture but as of this morning I have lost 43.5 since the end of January, I still have 56.5 to lose but it is slowly coming and I am so happy it is paying off. Not only do I look better but I feel AMAZING! I have energy which is something I never had in the past, I play with my kids more, I eat 5-6 times a day which helps me feel better, I work out 5-6 times a week, I love my fitness pal and all my friends on it especially you Brookie, and I actually am so much nicer to be around, I am happy all the time. Now I have always been a happy person and never really struggled with it but I didn't know I could be this happy and I know it will keep getting better the healthier I become. Thanks everyone for the love and support, I couldn't have done it without you all. My super supportive husband has made all the difference and the best part is he has always loved me for who I am and not for what I look like. Thanks baby for being the best friend I could ask for. Here's to another year and losing more, can't wait to see the difference next August.

Rexburg

We had the opportunity to go to Rexburg a couple of weeks ago to hang out with Joy. Joy was my room mate for a year back in 2004 in Rexburg and Disney World and we have been best friends ever since. Luckily for me she is also Kade's cousin so I get to see her more than I normally would because we have lots of family stuff with them. I was worried about driving 4 hours with the kids by myself because Kade was working in Wyoming for 10 days straight so I wanted to do fun things while he was gone. They actually did pretty well, they slept the first 2 1/2 hours. Then we made a stop and then listened to some awesome mix cd's that I made in high school they were fantastic :) We got to Joy's and got the kids settled in and then both she and I passed out, she had just got home from girls camp. Saturday morning we woke up and hung out and just chilled which was amazing we never get to do that. Then we went to the nature park and fed the ducks. Mia loved chasing after them. We went grocery shopping after that then went home for naps. While the kids were napping Joy and I watched Step Up. I had never seen it and I love Channing Tatum and Joy owns every dance movie ever so we watched it. I really liked it. That night we went to the splash park at Porter Park and hung out for a couple of hours. Mia was scared at first to go down the slides but Joy went with her and then she was great. Brooks loved standing at the end of the slides getting splashed. He also wandered over the the other playground and wanted to swing. We went home made dinner, chatted and laughed. It has been a long time since I was able to just hang out with Joy, we are always doing something or with a bunch of people so it was really nice and a good distraction since I hadn't seen Kade in over a week. The next day we hung out and then drove home during nap time. Thanks Joy for an awesome weekend, we definitely need to make this an annual thing, love you!
