29!!!

My love turned 29 on Saturday! We had an awesome weekend. Friday night our amazing friend Abby came and brought Cafe Rio and we watched Pitch Perfect. Saturday I didn't go to work and we got to hang out all day it was heavenly. We went to dinner at the good old Olive Garden and to a movie (This is 40, stupid!!!) and then we had our game that night. We play on a coed team but Kade got hurt last week so he couldn't play Saturday. I forgot to take a picture of us as we were going out so lucky for you I got one after my game :) Sunday we had family dinner with my family and I made enchiladas and a very yummy cake. We are so lucky to have Kade in our lives he is an amazing father, the best husband ever, and my best friend. He also got an early birthday present by getting to come home from Elko and work in Utah again :) :) :) Thanks everyone that sent him well wishes.

Ring

My wedding ring is too big and while it is getting fixed I had to have something to wear so my beautiful daughter let me borrow one of hers that came with a toy or something. I quite like it and I have gotten so many compliments while wearing it maybe I will just buy some more of these to color coordinate haha.

Kade's Family Party

On Saturday we had Kade's family party with his family because the next two weekends his parents will be out of town. We had his favorite dinner, lasagna, bread sticks, jello and cake of course. It was a really fun night and we ran to our game in the middle but then came back and played games until late. Kacey made an awesome cake for him, it was amazing. It was a hamburger with fries which was all cake and there was also a brownie layer in the middle. She is amazing. Thanks to everyone that made it a fun night!

Primary

I can't believe my little girl started Primary this year. I feel like we just brought her home from the hospital. Times flies when your having fun I guess. This is her Christmas dress, she was very excited to wear it to church, she also had on new tights and shoes. I walked her into sharing time and she was very quiet and sat down. There are ten kids in her class so they have three teachers which I think will be great. Then during the hour I went and checked on her and they were having her ring a bell as they sang songs. Afterwards I asked her what she thought and she said that she wished she had treats but she liked ringing the bell and it would be okay. She makes me laugh so much. Another good thing was Brooks went to primary by himself and did great. Hopefully this won't be too much with it being at 1pm :) I love our ward, we are so lucky to live in such a great neighborhood.

One Year

January 4, 2012 was one of the worst days of my life. Thankfully the Lord sparred Kade's life that day and we have him still. It has been a wonderful year. We took that experience and ran with it. Our relationship grew stronger, our perspective on life has become so much richer and most things don't matter that used to. We realized in that moment that the only thing that mattered was each other, our kids, and our time together. I am so grateful for the experience and trials that the Lord has put us through and I am so grateful that he knows each of us so personally that he knows what will work for us. I think this experience changed me just as much as it changed Kade.
These pics are almost one year apart and even though he is rockin a mullet :) I am thrilled he is here to celebrate another birthday. I love you with all my heart Kade and you are an amazing man, husband, and father. Thank you for all you do for our family.

New Years

I love New Years! I love new beginnings and reflecting on the past and how things have changed. I love making goals. I love watching the ball drop in New York City and one day I will be there. This New Years was no exception. We spent it with our friends the Seiler's. We had a yummy feast and hung out while the kids played in the play room and watched Brave. Then we put them to bed and played some games. We played a new game that I had never heard of called Pass the Popcorn and I fell in love with it. It was a movie trivia game. I made them play round after round until I won haha. We then got champagne glasses and watched the ball drop and drank our Martinelli's. It was a great night and we had a fun time, thanks Weston and Christa.

Here are my goals for the New Year.

- Continue eating healthy, working on My Fitness Pal, and work out at least 5 days per week.
- Pray daily on knees.
- Study the scriptures daily.
- Don't leave any dishes in the sink at night.
- Fast every fast Sunday.
- Focus on my relationships with Kade, Mia, and Brooks.

I hope to be able to keep these. Here's to an awesome New Year 2013!!!

Christmas

We were very blessed this Christmas and we had a wonderful season. We tried to focus on Jesus and his birth and the kids have loved telling people that its his birthday. It has been fun now that Mia understands more. We spent Christmas Eve with Kade's family, I forgot my camera oops. The kids got jammies from Grandma and Grandpa and we had a fun night. Then my mom was coming to sleep over that night and when she got there Dally had surprised everyone and showed up. It was so fun because we didn't think we were going to see him for a long time. Santa came and the kids were thrilled they each got their own car that goes 2.5 mph it is so fun to watch them ride all over the house. Mia also got her Cinderella coloring book, the only thing she asked Santa for and Brooks got a little Lightning McQueen and Matter. Miss Mia decided to sleep in on Christmas morning which is crazy because she is my child that gets up at 6AM normally and she didn't get up until 7:45AM. We had to keep Brooks occupied in the kitchen so that she could sleep. We had everyone over for an awesome Thanksgiving style meal that my beautiful mom made and we hung out all afternoon and night, then Kade had to go to work about 8pm so that was a bummer but I fell asleep at 9pm so it all worked out. Thanks everyone for the fun holiday!
We kept him occupied by watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and feeding him popcorn, I may have had a few pieces too.

Mia got a new dress for Christmas and really wanted to wear it so we let her.

Temple Square

We went to Temple Square with Ryan, Lola, Ethan, and my dad. We had a great time even though it was freezing! The kids loved the lights and afterwards we went to the Disney store and the kids had a great time.
In this picture Mia was scared of the money thing at the top of the stable but she also wanted a picture with baby Jesus. So this was the best we could get.
Lola and me, one of my amazing sister in laws.
