Mia is 3!

Our little girl turned 3 on May 20, I really can't believe it. It seems like I just had her and at the same time it seems like she has been apart of our lives forever. We had a very busy birthday weekend. She had her dance performance the day before and we had a family party with my family that evening. My mom and twin brothers and Mia all have their birthdays the same week so we had a bbq. It was a ton of fun. Then the morning of her actual birthday we had a yummy strawberry waffle breakfast with my mom, she slept over. Mia got her scooter, clothes, and a princess book she was very excited. Then after church we went to Kade's parents for May birthdays, Mia, Mike, and Kacey. We had a bbq there too, love spring time :) Mia was spoiled rotten, lucky little girl. Abby came over on Monday to take Mia for a fun birthday outing where we went to the park and to get slurpees she was a very happy girl.

Mia went to the doctor for her 3 year check up and she is coming in at the....13% for her height I know she is so tall haha, and the 70% for her weight, sound familiar well she is mine. We also got her pictures taken, Amy Bennion did a wonderful job. Thanks to everyone who made her day special.

Mia you have grown up so much this year, you know all your colors, shapes, letters, numbers, the pledge, my phone number, primary songs, you can recognize Taylor Swift's songs three notes in, you also enjoy Rascal Flatts, Backstreet Boys, Garth Brooks, Miley Cyrus, etc. It has been so fun watching you dance this year and we are so excited for soccer this summer. Thanks for being such an amazing big sister, your brother loves you so much and you play so well with him. We love you little girl! It is a pleasure being your mother.

Her Tangled cake, she was so excited about it.

We stopped by to see Kade's mission companion, Tyrone and his daughter Chloe after Mia's party.

Mia's Dance Recital

My little girl had her first dance recital on May 19th. It was the cutest, funny thing ever. This year has been so fun to have Mia in dance, she looks forward to it every Tuesday and then we usually go to dinner at Nana's and it is fun. Mia has grown so much this year and she has done awesome developing in her skills. Her teacher Emily is so patient and awesome. Their class didn't do much of the dance but they sure had fun. At one point they had a spontaneous hug with the three of them and it was so cute. We are so proud of Mia and the wonderful spirit that she brings into our home. Love you little girl.

My Other Man

I have the pleasure of having this beautiful boy as my son. He is a happy, healthy little boy. I love the age he is at. He has finally decided that sleeping through the night is something he likes which in turn is good for me and my hair (I actually have time to do it when he sleeps). He is saying lots of words: mama, daddy, ball, dog, milk, and he tries to say Mia because he pretty much worships the ground she walks on. When she comes into the room he beams with excitement, its the cutest thing ever. He is still crawling everywhere but he took one step to me on Friday May 18 when I was picking him up after work I cheered then he fell to the ground and started crawling. He is a funny boy. He loves food, all kind and loves his fruit. He loves to read books, loves babies and stuffed animals. He has started giving us kisses and it is the best. What a lucky mom I am to have such cute babies in my life. Thank you for bringing so much joy into my life Mr. Brooksie! We love you.
