Jr. Jazz Day

Some days I have a really cool job. The governor made an official Jr. Jazz day and I got to work it. It was the 30th anniversary of the Jr. Jazz program. It is the biggest youth basketball program in the country. While we were working so hard we got to meet the Bear and it was awesome! We are also wearing our Jr. Jazz jerseys and we both love Hayward! I am so glad I worked hard in college so I could have a good job even though I miss my kids like crazy everyday I know I am providing a better life for them and why not enjoy it sometimes :) GO JAZZ!!!

Sleepy Brooksie

We went to have dinner with my sister in law and her family and Brooks was asleep so I took him in and laid on their bed with him until he fell all the way back to sleep and I just laid there and cried watching him. He looked so peaceful and just like a little angel and I thought life doesn't get much better than this. I love every minute I am with my babies. Brooks is getting so old he talks in complete sentences and knows exactly what he wants and even teases me, he loves Mia so much and asks for her when she isn't there. When we drop him off on our way to take Mia to school he always says bye Mia I love you have fun at school. It is the cutest thing ever. I am so glad Brooks chose to come to our family, I don't know what I would do with out him.

Disney Day 1

My awesome brother and sister in law invited us to go to Disneyland with them for our anniversaries. Our anniversaries are one day and 10 years apart in December but that is a terrible time to go to Disneyland so we went in January. My brother in law works for Disney so we didn't have to pay to get it which was awesome. We flew out Tuesday morning and ate breakfast then went to Disneyland. I chose where we were going the first day and I was so excited!!! We basically went on everything in the park. I love the train especially the part with the dinosaurs. We had so much fun and I didn't slow us down too much with my boot (I broke my big toe the week before).
This was while we were waiting in line for Peter Pan which is my favorite ride.
Inside the Haunted Mansion we were scared!
Somehow we had never seen this part of Disneyland, you walk up in the castle and it tells the story of sleeping beauty it is adorable!
 Right after space mountain.
 Inside Pirates.
I had never been on Dumbo so we went on it and I loved it!
 There is Goofy!
My beautiful sister in law Kacey.
One of the yummiest treats ever, pineapple covered in dark chocolate.
Kade found a restaurant that he wanted to go to on one of those food shows called Slaters 50/50. We went to it that night and it was really good. Everything has bacon in it, he has pretty much talked about it every day since we came home.
 He was so excited!

My funny little man

A couple of weeks ago Brooks kept trying to balance on his head on the couch and he just kept laughing and he was being so funny. I love you little man thanks for making me smile every day!

V-Day 2013

As everyone knows I love holidays (minus that terrible one at the end of the year.) We had an awesome Valentines Day and I actually got to see Kade on the day, most of the time he is working out of town. Kade was working in South Jordan that week so he went to work early and brought roses and a card and put them on my desk. It was an awesome surprise and of course the card made me cry. I sure got lucky with that one:) Then I heart attacked his jeep it was so fun and yes we are lame but that's why we work. That night my amazing dad offered to watch our kids so we could go out. We went out with our friends Weston and Christa who we love and need to take a picture with. We went to Cafe Rio and then to see Identity Thief. We loved it and laughed through the whole thing. It was definitely our kind of movie.
Miss Mia got a rose from her love, her daddy :)
Mia dressed for school, she chose her outfit and I think she did an awesome job.
Her hair in hearts for school, yeah for pinterest. She was so excited to show her teacher and have her Valentines Party at school. She took M&M's and got some really fun things.
I love this smile, it melts my heart. I am a very lucky mama. Brooks was asleep for all of this so I don't have any pics of that little sweetheart. Hope everyone had an awesome day like we did.
