Eyes, Ears, Mouth, Nose

This is my little buddy. On Friday I got to hang out with my kids in the afternoon, it was so much fun. Mia went down a little later than Brooks so he woke up before her. I wasn't feeling very motivated so we just sat and watched the Roseanne marathon, yep I am in love with John Goodman what can I say :) As we were watching it Brooks climbed up on my chest and sat there and kissed me and gave me snuggles he was being so sweet. Then I started having him point to his nose, ears, eyes, mouth, head, teeth, elbow, feet and he was saying all of them and pointing to them when he would say them. Then he would point to mine and say "Momma's nose" etc. I am so proud of my sweet sweet boy. He is so loving and calls for Mia constantly he loves her so much. I love this picture of him too because he looks like his daddy here. Thanks Brooks for coming to our family little buddy, we all love you so much!

Brigham City Temple

We took the kids to the Brigham City temple open house and we had a great time. Mia was so excited to go to "Jesus'" house. Also both of them loved riding the bus to get to the temple.
Brooks riding on Kade while we waited for the bus.
After the we went through, I tried to get a picture of them both smiling but its still cute.
The temple was beautiful, I hope to be able to go back and do some work in it.

Ute Kids

On the night of the first Ute football game this season we were hanging out with Hunter and Kristen and the kids kept wanting to wear my hat. So I put the hat on each of them and took their picture. Such cute kids, I love that we live close to Mr. Hunter Man!! Go UTES!

Panda

We were shopping for some tomatoe cages and while I was talking to the sales lady I looked over and saw Brooks snuggling with this Panda bear. He is the sweetest boy, we love having him in our family.

Shopping Cart

I took Mia shopping after her swim lesson a couple of weeks ago just to grab a few things. We went to Smiths because it is my favorite store and right next to my work. We walked in and they had these little carts and Mia was so excited to get to push the cart. Now everytime we go to Walmart she says no I want to go to Smiths because it is better. She is such a funny girl.

Tomatoes

I grew these tomatoes in my own garden :) Then I made this tomatoe omelet. It was a fabulous breakfast. Brooks and I are the only ones that like tomatoes so I get to eat most of them.

Princess Dance Camp

I signed Mia up for this little Princess Dance Camp that they were doing at my work and she had a ball. She made friends and talked about it all week. They danced to all of the "princess songs" she is such a funny girl. I am so grateful to have this little princess in our lives, I am not sure what we did without her.
She got a crown and taffy, it was a pretty successful day.

Triathamom

I had a friend in my ward Liz tell me about this race called the triathamom and it was amazing. I am so glad that she told me about it. I loved training and learned to like biking and swimming. I trained with Christa and Brook. Christa ended up getting pregnant yeah :) I wanted to finish under two hours and I did it. It was a 300 meter swim, 12 mile bike ride, and a 5K. It was hard but I was so happy I did it. I saw a shirt there that described it perfectly it said, "Why tri one sport when you can suck at three" haha loved it. Thanks ladies it was a blast!
We ran into one of our friends on our soccer team, Karen too.
These are two of my friends in my ward Jackie and Liz, then me and Brook of course.

Grandma Copeland

My Grandma Copeland returned to our Heavenly Father on August 11, 2012. It was a bitter sweet phone call I received from my dad. My cute grandma had been sick about 9 months and wasn't doing well at all so we were so sad to see her go but so happy that she didn't have to be in pain anymore. She also got to return to her sweetheart and she had been waiting for that for a long time. My Grandma was an amazing woman and had a heart of gold. She was one of those no nonsense people and didn't like fluff. She loved having her boys, she has all boys. She would always say to me I don't know what to do with girls. I had the priviledge of speaking at her funeral and I really enjoyed being able to. I told a few stories and I thought I would share my favorite on here: About 9 years ago a show called One Tree Hill came out and my grandma and I started watching it. I am not sure why she did but she told me that she like it because of the good looking boys well I couldn't argue with her there, they were good looking. We would talk about it every time I would call her and I would love to hear her say that she was going to stop watching it because it was getting too "racey" but she would just keep watching it. This year was the last season and I called her right before it was starting to make sure she was watching it even though I knew she wasn't quite all there and she was excited to see it. It was our special thing and I guess she just had to see how it was ending before her ending. There are so many amazing things that my grandma did but I think her biggest accomplishment was her amazing marriage and being a wonderful mother and grandmother. She met my grandpa and 14 days later they were married. She loved to cook for anyone and everyone and she was a wonderful cook. I will miss her yummy food and her love to share it with everyone. I love you Grandma and hope you are so happy now that you are reunited with Pappy. Until we meet again...I love you.
