Jr. Jazz

For my job I get some pretty cool opportunities. I was nominated and won Jr. Jazz director of the year this year for the state. I absolutely love running Jr. Jazz. A lot of people dread the Jr. Jazz time of year but it is my favorite. For winning I got to go down to the Sportsmanship party at Energy Solutions Arena. It was a really cool experience and I was honored that I was nominated for the award. I got to meet Evans and Okur and Okur has been my favorite player for years even though he has been out most of this season. Dale Murphy also was there to speak to the children, he was very positive and did a great job. Thanks to whoever nominated me, you made my year.

My Cute Nephew

Kristen sent me this super cute picture of my Hunter. I think he looks just like Dustin when he was a baby. I can't wait until he is home and I can kiss him and love him. Dustin and Kristen you guys are amazing!!! Love you.

Hunter Kade Copeland

Hunter Kade Copeland was born on February 23, 2011 at 10:39am. Hunter came 8 weeks early. Hunter's mom Kristen was so sick and found out she had serve pre-eclampsia. She was admitted on Sunday and they gave her steroids for Hunter's lungs. They were hoping that she wouldn't have to have him that week but things ended up not working that way. So on Monday they got the second round of steroids. Yeah for medicine :) Then Kristen ended up having a C section. She was so brave and she and Dustin were so calm and strong they did great with all of this. Hunter was 3 lbs, 1 oz, 15 3/4 inches long. Hunter is very strong and doing great. We are so blessed to have this little angel in our lives. I am so excited to have a nephew on my side and a Copeland cousin for miss Mia Mia. We can't wait until Hunter can come home from the hospital. Yes Hunter Kade was named after my Kade so that is pretty cool. Please keep them in your prayers. Hunter we are so excited to have you in our family we love you so much.

Random

Mia never sleeps through anything so this was a miracle. We went to a wedding shower last weekend. Mia fell asleep in the car on the ten minute car ride. She does this a lot of times when we are driving but as soon as I stop the car and open the door she is awake. Well she didn't wake up, I carried her in and then handed her off when I got inside, I am getting pretty big these days and she is getting heavy. They laid her on the bean bag chair and she stayed asleep she slept for the next hour and a half. It was the weirdest thing but she looked like a little angel sleeping so I had to get some pictures. Thank you Mia for making life so exciting and wonderful you make everyday amazing. I love you so much my little princess.

Annual Presidents Day Party!

Every year Brindi, Abby, and I have a Presidents Day Party. We always make a cake but this year Brindi had the idea to make cupcakes. Which are my favorite. We had a great time as always and watched part of First Wives Club, it was dumb so we turned it off. Thanks for a fun night girls, love ya.
