5!!!

Our beautiful princess turned 5 on May 20. I can't believe she is 5 it flew by way too fast. She changed my whole life for the better. I never knew one little person could make such a different in my life. I am so glad Kade talked me into to having her :) She is a sweet, fiesty, loving, passionate 5 year old. She has been a huge help this pregnancy and I don't know what I would do without my ray of sunshine. She sings and dances all the time, she is an amazing sister, and awesome soccer player. Thanks for all that you have added to our family Mia!
She had a big month of birthday celebration. She started with her two family parties where she was spoiled rotten by her grandparents. Then her graduation was on her actual birthday which worked out awesome for Kade and me because we were already taking work off to be with her. We let the kids choose their favorite restaurant on their birthdays and since Mia is definitely Kade's child she has expensive taste and choose to go to Olive Garden, luckily for me I had received a gift card for my birthday and I had been saving it for her birthday. After her graduation the four of us went to lunch then we went to see Rio 2. It was so fun and there were only a few other people in the theater and it was such a cute movie. We spent the night playing with her new toys and showing her video of the day she was born, what a beauty she was even then, her mom and dad on the other hand looked pretty bad haha.
Abby is an amazing aunt, thanks for all you do!
Kade got her glow in the dark balloons and she loved them.
Brooks got her soccer ball earrings.
 Princess Sophia!
 New swim suit :)
Her pink dutch oven cake, yes her daddy loves her a lot. He doesn't just make this for anyone.
 Her friend party cake.
Mia loves everyone and wanted to invite everyone so I reserved the church and she invited all her church, school, dance, and other friends. It was a blast and she loved every minute of it.
 Candy!
We are missing a few but it was so much fun for her to have so many people come.
The kid in the blindfold is her "boyfriend" Nolan

The Shirt

When I found out I was having twins my doctor put me on very limited exercise and its been really hard on me. I guess I didn't realize how much I really loved working out. The further I got the less I could do, it hurts for me to stand more than ten minutes so trying to do anything else is kind of out of the question. When I get home from work I can't do much more than unload the dishwasher or switch the laundry before I have to lay down. It has been frustrating for me but I know its all going to be worth it. I am so lucky to have such a wonderful family who has been so helpful and supportive so I haven't been so lonely. I have tried really hard to listen to my body so that I don't push it too hard and for those that know me I am a pusher :) This morning as I was looking through my shirt options haha I came across this shirt. I got this shirt when I worked at Redwood Rec and was my heaviest I used to wear it a lot. I love gray shirts. When I got to work I looked up and saw this picture of me and my Mia and realized I was wearing the same shirt and I thought wow it fits and I am this far pregnant with twins. This picture of us was two years ago so I had even started to loose weight by the time this had been taken about 30 pounds, as I looked at that picture I realized it was going to be okay. I am going to be able to work out again and loose the weight and feel better, its going to happen because I am a hard worker and want to feel good in my own skin. I have to do it to be a good example to my children and teach them how important exercise is and should be part of everyday life. They know it is and they point out people running and riding their bikes and say mom they are exercising. I am so glad they see how important it is and how much we need it in our life and how eating healthy and making good choices are part of that. Thank goodness for this knowledge that I have been given because I am so much happier and love that I have been able to change even though it has been hard the last few months. I am so thrilled to be having these babies I can't even put it into words.

28 Weeks

I can't believe I am in my third trimester it has flown by and I am huge!!! As you can see I am sporting a Rascal Flatts concert shirt, my shirt selection is pretty limited and I kept a few select shirts from when I was awesomely fat before and concert shirts are one of them so here we are haha. I love these little babies so much already and am so excited to meet them and find out what they are. Not knowing what they are has been one of the best things I have ever done and I love that it drives people crazy :) Who knew something could be so fun! Mia has now decided that one is a girl and one is a boy and Brooks is still holding strong to the two boys he has named them and has changed Eric to Jake so he would like us to your Tarzan and Jake (Jake and the Neverland pirates is where that came from). I only have one person who thinks its two girls so I guess we will have to see who is right. As for me I got between the three every day with the pros and cons and guesses but I really have no clue and its awesome. Kade hasn't told me what he thinks and I am glad he hasn't because he is always right on these things. I am hoping to make it at least 8 more weeks, I have been pretty patient and calm which is a good thing for me to learn. I was meant to learn patience, letting other people do things for me, and to let things go with this pregnancy. It has been hard but it has been really good for me. Thanks to everyone that has already done so much for me, I appreciate it more than you know. All the meals and help that has been provided to us has been amazing. Here's to the third trimester just wait and see how big I get!

My Baby Boy

We were trying to potty train Brooks and it just wasn't going well. So on Memorial Day weekend I decided I was just going to do it since I was off for three days in a row. After a few accidents the first day I decided to try and just let him run around with just a shirt on and it worked! He had one accident each day the next two days it was awesome! So we went back to work and I figured since he had it we should be set. Well it didn't work and then once we let him just wear his shorts he was fine so we discovered that he is a boxer kid. Who knew a three year old would have such an opinion about his underwear but since he is Kade's I should have known :) He is doing great. This picture on the bottom is of this morning. When I woke up I felt something at the bottom of my feet, this little stinker had snuck into our bed in the middle of the night. He is just the cutest little boy ever, I am so lucky to be his momma.
